1. The Brooklyn Commons in Brooklyn, New York is a multi-purpose spacious building, conveniently located right by the subway station. The building is used for rental office space, music & fine art exhibition events, Café with light meals, local festivals etc.
2. The building was newly renovated and very well-maintained. It is simply clean and big (see my photos of the huge main event hall on the second floor) and with many small rental office rooms.
3. On the occasion of the Gotham Arts NYC multimedia fine art festival at the Brooklyn Commons, about a dozen local artists exhibited their artworks there. The music bands, wines, light hot & cold foods were provided generously by the locals. (see my photos attached here.) The building owner Melissa and the Lotus Art Gallery owner Josephine worked very closely for produce and coordinate this large scale fine art event for the weekend of April 8, 2017. The art and cultural events were held at three locations near by.
This is a highly active building for local's cultural events. I am looking forward to seeing the next summer festival there again.
