Cheap, cheerful, and extremely popular traditional London cafe, with a loyal clientele. Just down the road from Lambeth Palace and the Garden Museum, the cafe is located in a former pub. Aficionados of "Passport to Pimlico" will recognise the location as being opposite the bombsite at the beginning of the film. They serve a range of traditional English breakfast options, and lunches, which include sandwiches, baked potatoes, and omelettes, as well as fry ups, you can have all day. There are plenty of vegetarian options, but I'm not sure if any are vegan. Service is quick and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable. Some of the serving staff are very pleasant and smiley, others less so. But it remains extremely popular at all times of the day. (NB. They are not open in the evening.) read more
