Don't let the appearence fool you, this pub is tucked away in a bizzare location and from the outside looks to be nothing special. However, probabley due to the fact that most people don't know it's thier, it has a fantastic vibe. You get a feeling you belong thier as soon as you walk in (maybe they are just pleased to see some customers, and for a few moments you feel you have escaped the city.
For you bargain hunters out there you can get a £1.50 Spaghetti Bolognese on a monday between 12-3.30pm and 4.30-11pm!, you could when I visited anyway (monday 18th January 2010)
This pub is also a great place to pop to if your heading to temple meads from the city centre for a long train journey. (I can personally recomend this!) if you have a few hours to waste come and sit in the warmth, get yourself a pint, a paper and bob's your uncle! (don't miss your train though!) read more
