I managed to do two hours of high intensity fitness today. Before going down this fitness journey, I stopped by HEB for a snack. Right at the front of the store was The Kosher store. I had no idea initially that I was in The Kosher Store. My snack de jour was tuna salad. After I landed in The Kosher Store, I explored various kosher items such breads and meats. This kosher shopping experience was pleasant and informative.
The Kosher Store manager said while they at a wide selection of kosher items, they also had many other kosher items sprinkled throughout the store. As a FYI, food is considered kosher if it complies with Jewish dietary laws, including permitted species, proper slaughter, separation of meat and dairy, and careful preparation under rabbinical supervision.
The Kosher Store was small and therefore, easy to navigate. The store manager was friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about kosher items.
I purchased my tuna salad which was inexpensive and quite tasty. read more
