8 pm.-10 pm: Late happy hour starts and it's MUCH cooler on the roof of The Oread at that time. The view is amazing anytime but the sunset.....it's spectacular. There's no blender on the 9th floor so don't ask for a blended drink. There are a few appetizers on the menu and they are quickly brought up from the bar in the lobby. We tried the pretzels and they were really good, hot and fresh. Relaxing to hang out and meet new people. There is a sail covering over part of the bar, but honestly, even though it was 100 degrees during the day, it was quite pleasant at 8 PM on the roof. read more
