Do you need some alternative holistic complementary health assistance? Then this is the place to head. After years of hospitalisation and strong medications, I wanted something a little less aggressive and natural to help. I've been seeing my herbalist, Daisy, for several years now and she is lovely and a great guide. She has fantastic suggestions through food, holistic medication and exercises. She looks at you as a whole, emotionally and physically. Instead of heading to a doctors who just treat the symptom she gets to the bottom of the issue and finds the cause of the symptom then the treatment can begin. I'm a fusspot and I'm not a fan of tinctures, which is a liquid of various herbs. Trust me they taste awful! So Daisy has been amazing and has found tablet forms of the various herbs that she feels is the right course for my recuperation. She is an amazing listener and sometimes things that happen to you in your everyday life that is the cause of a certain symptom you have. With a doctor you're literally in and out in less than 5 minutes. With a herbalist appointment you are seen for 1 hour. Of course unlike a doctors it isn't free and a consultation is £40 but I feel it is worth every penny. The main idea is prevention from the illness, the herbs are gently nourishing your body and I have had less and less re-occurrences, which is brilliant. The herbs do come at a cost but Daisy can get them at a discount rate. The Practice also has other practitioners in complementary heath i.e. acupuncture and reflexology etc. It's a really pleasant experience going here and it's an alternative way to keep yourself strong and healthy. read more
