From the moment we arrived at Trellis House we felt welcomed. As soon as we met Laurence, he offered us complimentary champagne and provided us some time to relax and unwind in the beautiful and comfortable sitting room after our long journey. After checking in a couple before us, he gave us a tour of the grounds and the house, which have all been recently renovated with exquisite taste and thoughtfulness. Each morning started off with a delicious breakfast that changed daily with locally produced ingredients on the screened in porch. Coffee was delicious using locally roasted beans from a local purveyor. Each evening we were delighted to find our bed turned down with a small bouquet of fresh flowers and a decadent sweet at our bedside. Laurence was EXTREMELY friendly, courteous, and helpful in every way. He always asked us if we needed anything. We feel like we met a friend and look forward to future stays at Trellis House. read more
