Urban grape is an upscale wine store on a mission. During my visit I got to learn from one of the owners about their brand Progressive Wine Co and the work they are doing to help expand access to the wine industry for people of color. You can tell TJ is passionate about wine and knows his stuff from the way he talks and from the flavors of the wine from their personal brand. I tend to shy away from reds, but their Pinot Noir will now have a regular spot on my rack.
