I used to come here pretty regularly, but unfortunately the service really seems to have gone downhill. We waited two hours, whilst waiters played on their phones and food sat on the bar for our main course and I truly am shocked at their incompetency to deal with the Saturday night time rush most restaurants should come to expect.
The drinks menu was limited, with strange variations on cocktails only available, a cosmopolitan was not, a long Cosmo was, so I opted for that.
After first denying it was on the menu I was served a badly mixed cocktail, with no straws in the vicinity and no martini glasses either. I accepted this. It isn't London after all.
After ordering straight away we received our very simple starters after half hours wait, wolfing them down as we were starving, they were gone in under five minutes leaving us to wait over another hour and a half for the main. By the time it was served the table next to us had left refusing to pay the bill and we had been told two meals and a round of drinks would not have to be paid for.
This was not adequate, and it really was a shame as the food was good if a little cold, but maybe my kindness comes from the second Complimentry cosmo.
Really hope they pull up their socks, food could be so much better if they got it out faster. read more
