Thoroughbread bakery is tucked away in a residential area behind South Lamar. I saw a post on social media touting ThoroughBread cookies as the best cookies they have ever eaten. Wow, that was a bold claim! I finally got the opportunity to try ThoroughBread cookies and they were quite yummy. These cookies are like no other cookies I have eaten. I got the chocolate chip cookies with pecans. They had the texture of gingerbread cookies and were huge. They were gooey in the middle, perfectly crisp on the outside, and rich without being eye-squinting sweet. The chocolate chip cookies had welcoming textures and flavors. In addition, my server was kind and patient as I made my selection. You could taste the quality of ingredients, and each mouthful was progressively delicious.
