This is a great short hike if you like climbing up the side of a mountain. Historians always say the steps were built for the quarreymen to get to work, what a bunch of maroons. Everyone around here knows it was built by the native peoples of this area thousands of years ago. It's very popular with high school students and students from Juniata College. read more
