Because I am an irresponsible person most of my shoes currently need re-heeling or re-soling. Instead of getting this done I just tend to chose the least damaged pair and hope for the best. There was a time though, when I would religiously get them fixed the moment they needed it and usually I would come to Timpson to do this. Service was quick, the work was good and usually inexpensive. Apart from occasionally telling me that a pair of heels were too high to fit in their re-heeling kit, I had no trouble. I've also been here a few times for key cutting and again, have never had any problems. Most recently I got three keys cut. It took five minutes and cost me about £15. I was given a guarantee and told to test the keys and to come back within the week if any of them weren't right, but they were all fine. I haven't tried their other services but, especially given the handy Byres Road location, I'm sure I'll be back here again.
