Decent size TJMaxx, with the full assortment of departments. This store has not been recently updated inside, nor out, but it is clean and organized for a TJX store. As always, plenty of merchandise has been "TJMaxxed" (i.e. opened, used, broken, thrown on the floor, stolen from, etc.), and that even included a car seat opened and rigorously inspected by a qualified "TJMaxxer" determined to put yet another item on clearance, perhaps to come back later and scoop up the deal. I guess it beats shoplifting (barely). I was surprised to see brands that stores near me in the Philly area, do not carry, such as Vineyard Vines, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Lilly Pulitzer. If, on a rare occasion my stores did have these brands, items would be instantly sold. There were still other high end brands I hadn't heard of, such as an eco friendly couture label, and some others with heavy security buttons on them. I was surprised to see so many sweaters and long pants on all the racks. It was winter merchandise almost just like up North. True, no coats and scarves for sale, but it's in the 80s here every day, so who wants a sweater? I've seen no local in a sweater. Odd. I must take a star off for their very weak fragrance department. One table, and sparse! Staff was friendly enough, didn't push the TJX card on me. Appreciated. I visited to find items I'd forgotten to pack. I was able to find what I needed; a pair of shorts and a baby toy. Plenty of parking out in the shopping center lot. read more
