My name is Karen and I am a Chinese Buffaholic. Set me in front of a counter filled with battered chicken pieces slathered in spicy and sweet sauce and garnished with a touch of green and I will lose all control. Now that I have confessed I will add that Tops has 6 counters of sticky goodness.
Naysayers will state it is not authentic Chinese cuisine and I will agree while smacking my lips and adding another serving to my plate. Say what you will, this stuff is good. Tops is just plain good.
What makes it better than most buffets? Lots of picky kid selections. A counter of raw components to have cooked on a large Mongolian grill while you watch. Frog legs - never tried them but a great buffet always has an alternative meat or something with tentacles for a dad to eat and creep the kids. A whole pork roast to slice. Balls of puff pastry stuffed with sweet cream cheese. Sushi.
