"I'll find it"
I've been dying for a good Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. I did a search of where I could get one near Meriden, Ct. and Trackside Deli was on the list. Never heard of it so I thought,
"Why not?"
Plugged it into the gps on my phone and off I went. About 3/4 the way there my gps lost signal. I was on a side street in the middle of no where. I should have turned back at that point, but I was determined to get my sandwich.
The gps kicked on and off, but I managed to get there. I knew I'd be late getting back to work on my lunch break but I had to have it.
This deli that appears to be in the middle of no where has quite the following. There were a lot of people enjoying there lunch in the dining area and locals being greeted by the staff.
I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak with mushrooms, peppers, onions, and of course cheese.
I also ordered a cream of mushroom soup.
Believe me, it was worth getting back to work late. The sandwich was delicious and satified my craving.
The soup was ok, but I didn't care. I found the sandwich and another place to have lunch. read more
