Had a great stay here in May 2023. Comfortable, spacious cabin and responsive staff available on site and by text message. Shower water pressure and temperature was good. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, standing fan, television, couch. Place was quiet. Good heat from radiators. Nice view of the mountains from the porch. There is probably no better place to stay in Stanley. Pro tip for those visiting Sawtooth National Forest, many park roads are closed except for about 3 months a year and they are almost all dirt (or ice), so you will need a bike or snowshoes to reach the park most months unless you want to add an extra 4-6 miles to your daily hiking mileage. The only real open season is around Memorial Day to Labor Day. Call the park ranger offices and research previous years before planning your trip. In mid May there were still 3-4 feet of snow and ice on the park roads and trails. read more
