I am not sure which barn the 1-star review is referring to, must be a mistake. I have been a lesson student and leaser at Trillion Equestrian since it first opened its doors. I could never imagine being at a different facility. As a student, I have had excellent instructors who have safely challenged me in my riding into both NIHJA and IHJA shows. Ann's lesson horses are priceless, and her care of them shows. Each horse is extremely well taken care of for their health and happiness. Consistently, Ann has brought in new horses to bring in different opportunities for her lesson students. Trillion's philosophy has always been towards creating an "all-around Equestrian", meaning that students not only learn to ride correctly; but also how to care for a horse. After having a few years of lessons I was given an opportunity to lease a horse at Trillion. My horse was always outside in the paddocks grazing; never cooped up inside (unless inclement weather or severe cold) which helped keep his OTTB brain sane! The staff and handlers are so in tune with the horses, and genuinely love and invested in the animals. I was always in the loop about his care when I was not around, and trusted Ann and her team entirely to make decisions for me when I was not present. As far as the facility, it is very welcoming and family oriented. In the years that I have been at Trillion Equestrian, Ann has put in blood, sweat and tears to improving the grounds. Within her first year we created a viewing room and converted a indoor tack room, as well as add a additional tack room on the other side of the barn aisle. Later on she added additional stalls in the back of the HUGE indoor arena to offer more space for boarders. She created a new dry lot near the front of the property. Painted and stained the indoor wood stalls. Re-sanded the indoor arena, added additional lighting and a music surround system. Upgraded the indoor aisle and arena with a heater so riding is more enjoyable year round. The biggest renovation was this year when she completely renovated the second barn to allow for more boarders. She is also in the process of creating a second huge outdoor area. It seems that every week there is a new project! I can not recommend Trillion Equestrian highly enough. If you have any interest in taking lessons or boarding don't hesitate. Rarely goes a period of time that one of her many stalls are vacant. If you blink some lucky person will snatch it up! This is only a testament to how desirable her facility is. Overall, if you are looking for a family friendly facility that is impeccably run, conveniently located and with many opportunities --- Trillion is the place! Look no further! read more
