What a great find. We are passing through from Vermont to Bar Harbor. We needed a snack and saw this cute ice cream stand. They also offer hot dogs and lobster rolls. We were told they make all their own ice cream, which is impressive seeing how many flavors they offer. The woman at the window was hilarious. When we told her we were from Orlando, she said, "How did you find Wayne, Maine? Haha! They even sell stickers that say, "Where the hell is Wayne, Maine?" They have the best tables out back by the river where you can enjoy your ice cream too. Plus the cleanest porta-potty. We didn't have time to stay, but would have loved to visit their gift shop.
