I wish there was more than 5 stars because this place deserves more than five. You see my family and I were staying at Hallsted campground last week and the Twain Store was located across the way. The first day we went in there I was immediately impressed with the selection of stuff. They have everything you could think of for a quick trip up to Twain. Once I was done looking at the selection my eyes went to the wonderful foods in the front case by the register. I asked the Lady working if it was all homemade and she said yes except the Salami. It was then that I knew I had to try as much as I could here before departing in a few days. With this being said we went back for lunch the following day and I ordered a Tri-Tip sandwich. It was so good I ate the whole thing. Not only was the food great the first day though the staff was also a delight. The staff all have great customer service skills and they make the food as you order while chatting at the same time. All the ladies were awesome and I wish I could left more for a tip because they were stellar. Among the foods I tried which also included a meatloaf sandwich, Quiche, and breakfast burrito my family also ate there. My son loved his hot dog and the breakfast he got and my husband enjoyed his sandwich and breakfast burrito. My son age 14 was impressed with everything there and even mentioned the people are nice. This is a place I will certainty go back to and recommend. I wish I had tried more foods and the iced Coffee but time was up. We however though did use there RV dump station before leaving and it was well maintained and easy. read more
