Woot! First ever annual UniqueSF event. Some might already heard of UniqueLA, and the same organization decided San Francisco is another perfect and NYC is next on the list. Unique SF is a weekend shopping event that aims to supporting the local businesses and designers. Tickets are 10 bucks and 10% of the ticket sales goes towards a cause. Because this is the first ever UniqueSF, there were a number of notable vendors from the LA that filled up the already decent numbers of Bay Area designers/vendors. You'll never leave the event thirsty because there are plenty of free drinks. Furthermore, there were two well-known sponsors of the event was Square and Toyota. Toyota were there in full force with photobooths and on-the-spot fresh made screen printed UniqueSF t-shirts and other DIY Workshops. As far as the event goes, there was so much to look atAs for me a I took some of my limited funds to buy a gangsta styling backpack ( knoxsf.com ), jars of INNA Jam (Tay Berry and Plenty Spicy Jam, innajam.com ), and a Pork Belly Banh Mi for lunch! Moreover, one of my favorite non-local vendors is Frigate ( frigatewear.com) which designed some very unique / stylish ties.
