Our very first Up the Keys Tour wasn't a typical touristy tour. We came a month after Hurricane Irma and joined Kim for a "Voluntour" up to Big Pine Key. On that day, with our two boys, we really got to know Kim and the kind of person she is. Helping locals out after Irma is something we will never forget. We did it once. Kim has done it probably hundreds of times and continues to do it while still conducting fun and informational trips Up the Keys. After that first trip, we promised to do a "real" tour the next time we came down....and we did. We always thoroughly enjoy our Up the Keys experiences and have learned so much through them. We feel like we really have a connection to the Keys and have met some awesome people. The half day tour up to Bahia Honda State Park introduced us to one of our new favorite places in the Keys. The Tiki Tour is crazy fun and a totally different experience.
Basically, if you have a day (or half day) to spare and you've come all the way down to Key West, don't miss your chance to see the rest of the Keys as well!! read more
