You probably drove right by it.
This quaint USPS is located in Kapolei (more Barber's Point/Kalaeloa) at the intersection of Lexington Street and Yorktown Street.
The building is visibly old so driving by you would think it is an abandoned building. However, the USPS is operational albeit limited hours.
Business hours are Monday to Saturday 09:30 tp 12:30 (I believe those times offsets the hours of the Renton Road USPS which is from 12:00 to 14:00).
There are not many businesses in the area so parking is plentiful and services are quick. I went about 11:00 on a Thursday and there were only two other customers in the parking lot.
Enter from near the mailboxes!
I was a bit unclear where the entrance was since there were no signs and it was not well-lit. However, after walking around the corner, the doors were marked.
Inside is a small space but, reasonable for the location which I don't suspect gets a large influx of customers at the same time. There was one other customer in front of me but, I was in and out in approximately 10 minutes. The Postal Clerk was pleasant and efficient.
I'm fairly sure the USPS has a set price by weight however, it seems that I spent more here than I did at another location for a similar weighted package to the same destination.
-2 stars for aesthetics and cost. read more
