No good deed goes unpunished.
During my last package drop off I notice some cash on the counter in an unattended window. Being a good customer I notify the only window clerk around about the cash. When the actual clerk arrives who normally occupies the window arrives I receive a thanks for inforing him about the cash.
Next that clerk take my package and scan's it for what I thought would be the first leg of its trip to the destination. Unfortunately I should have looked at the scan more closely. What he did was to take my package and then perform a delivery scan. Making the package look as if it had been delivered instead of being received for transit.
Fast forward a day and I get notification from the intended recipient the package has been delivered to the wrong address. Crap! Now I have to deal with the 800 number, and then make a visit back to the post office. read more
