Vampire Penguin is one of our favorite places to visit while in Aiken. It's an absolute must if you have kids or teens. The shaved ice varieties are so good with a consistently beautiful presentation. We ordered the tiramisu, banana cream, and peach varieties. Everything we ordered was served pretty quickly and tasted very good and flavorful. You cannot go wrong with any of the ice dessert orders. The ice desserts are definitely large so you will need to share it (unless you are extremely hungry!). We have previously ordered the acai bowls, but they are relatively small. Inside the store is a very cute Halloween/Gothic decor and a cute 'evil' looking chair that is great for family selfies. I wish there was one nearby my hometown! read more
