So-so experience in here this evening. Service was good and friendly, was a nice warm cozy environment after freezing our behinds off in the park for hours and they had colouring sheet and markers for the kiddo. I didn't like the food, my beef and guinness pie had a nice flavour but the meat was really dry and the amount of pastry wasn't very generous, the small side of roasted parsnips and carrots that came with it was nice. Really disappointing for €15.50, not cheap for a pub grub main course I think. Husband didn't enjoy his burger. Our toddler seemed to like his food but he's hardly a gourmand: chicken skewers and chips. Probably won't be back, there are nicer and more reasonably priced places to eat in Terenure. read more
