I am neither vegetarian nor gluten free but this place is phenomenal. The vital cobb was probably the best salad bowl I have tried, not to mention very generously sized. Between the candied dates, smoked almond, rice paper bacon, sundried tomatos, mung beans and tangy creamy dressing, this bowl could not possibly contain any more flavour. If you asked me to choose one thing to eat for the rest of my life, it would be this. Vital root is a casual gluten green, vegetarian (98% vegan) restaurant where you order at the counter but they bring the food to your table when ready. Service was fast and friendly. They have seating indoor and an almost outdoor seating area with heating. It's a fantastic place to grab lunch and can't wait to come back for more.
