Was excited to come back Wah Jee Wah after the closure in Hayward. Do not get me wrong Wah Jee Wah is creative and unique in the way it presents traditional Indian Food with BBQ. The menu was VERY different from the Hayward location. My review comes as a 3 because while some of the food itself was flavorful, it did not outshine the 25 min wait to be sat and over an hour wait for the food. When it did arrive, we got our Lobster Coconut Curry and Lamb Shank first, and then waited another 20 min for the rest of the food (including Naan) to come out. There was also a mix up with the order which was handled professionally and promptly by staff. Overall, the inside space is a lot smaller, making the wait longer and seems like they might still be working through some of their processes. While I miss the old menu, I do recommend the Lobster Coconut Curry and the Lamb Chops! read more
