I love a good lawn party. Being in the outdoors in nature. Raising money for a cause. These are all positive things. Then add that it's family and pet friendly and Octoberfest in New England Double bonus. There was beer, food and live music for us. Chasing kids, changing diapers and wandering the grounds for the adult kids while the grand babes participated in drawing, guessing the acorns and autumn style face painting. It wasn't long ago we were all there...or maybe it was. Wakefield Estate is a small but stunning abortoreum, a place to visit with farm animals, to view fall foliage and have the light hit you just right. We enjoyed Mediterranean food with a twist from a local food truck, chicken cooked buffalo or schnitzel style...on top the rice. A local craft brewery.
