Very pleasant experience applying to a complex in Golden hill. I love how the units have everything you need but the layouts are minimalistic, and the one I viewed was renovated and very nice. Karla was such a big help in finding what I wanted; we were specifically wanting vinyl floors due to having a dog, and the look of them. She found me a unit that was perfect for what we needed. Downtown is only 6 minutes if not closer by car, and the units are very quiet and charming. We did decide to go with another option since it's closer to my school but I highly recommend walz properties if you're wanting to live near downtown. Living in downtown I've noticed there are many homeless people, and other problems you run into but on golden hill it is very safe, and parking is included as well. Uber is 3-5 dollars to get to central downtown and the streets aren't too busy at their C street/ and broadway units. I viewed them both and really liked them. Will attach photos of units I looked at to help future renters. I will keep walz properties in my back pocket because it is affordable and very nice.
