Triangles and diamonds Most of the real old libraries are distinctive and every one has it's own unique charm. A big difference from the generic, functional but not aesthetic look of many modern libraries. However sometimes a newer library can be designed and construction to be special and not just a box with four 90 degree corners The Wareham Library definitely has a distinctive and uniqueness all it's own. Sort of long and lean with cool triangles and diamond shapes. All the sharp angles surprising flow together really well and gives the whole building a strange sense of motion. Reminds me of being in a clean and quiet tunnel. The library isn't particular large but never seems crowded or difficult to maneuver around. Easy to find your spot and relax. Of course it has wi-fi, computers and a cool community room and lots of programs for entertain bored kids during the summer. It's obvious at first glance that this is a unique library that stands out from the ordinary. I've never seen a library with such an emphasis on shapes and angles, it gives the entire building a pleasant and inviting appeal all it's own. read more
