A wonderful old library which I belonged to way back in my extreme youth! I revisit it whenever I can because I love the atmosphere, the building (especially the interior), and the statue of James Watt (famous son of Greenock of course). I was there again in October (3 weeks ago) and took the photos which accompany this review. It has been greatly updated over the years and now has web-linked computers and other things from the modern age - besides all the up-to-date books of course! The librarian could have been a bit friendlier - that's my only gripe! read more
