It was a fairly average Wetherspoons, the chips were nicely cooked.
One of the days we decided to go for breakfast and it was quite full. The upstairs doesn't seem to open until later, so we had a terrible table in the middle of drunk smelly men and atable with flies round it.
The butter was rock solid and a member of staff offered to get more and try to melt it a bit, she even brought out fresh toast. I thought this was very kind, as I hadn't even kicked up a fuss.
One thing that was irritating was it had taken a long time to order as we had members vouchers. The staff had to find the manager to confirm they were real, but the manager had not seen them before! read more
