Though the restaurant is fast casual, the food is definitely top notch. There is plenty of advertising inside and outside the restaurant about their food sources and the end product definitely reflects the quality of their food.
The cookies and cream shake is very creamy with just the right amount of sweetness and a consistency that gets just the right amount of flavor on your tongue without overpowering the senses. The hot chick is excellently executed throughout with a tender and crispy piece of buttermilk fried chicken with fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion. It's a bit large to eat in one bite, but somehow you get the right mix of buffalo and blue cheese sauce with each bite. The chop house burger is a very unassuming, but well constructed burger. The key here is really in the quality of the beef in the burger combined with excellent execution on the cooking to get just the right level of juiciness. I liked the milder white truffle sauce as it didn't distract from the enjoyment of the meat. The sweet potato fries were also prepared well with a good mix of soft and crispy elements and a good firmness.
Overall, great value considering how good the food is here. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Dallas. read more
