After 50,000 miles of being really careful not to scratch the wheels, the day came last weekend. While parking on a residential street, my wife scraped a curb with one wheel. My wife is very particular when it comes to her car. She was very upset and determined to find a solution. After doing some online research she reached out to a couple of local businesses. A replacement rim would cost $225+ in addition to installation and time to make it happen. Other options included repair of the rim. The first quoted her $120 and she would need to bring the car down to their shop. She then contacted Joe with Wheel Right and found out he does mobile repair and could come to her work and repair it right there. He also quoted her $120. She said Joe was very responsive via text and they were able to schedule the work for the same week. She is very happy with the results, see before and after pics.
