Although this location has been here for three years, the other listing is still active and after getting lost today again and was late to my appointment I had to come a give a Yelp review in efforts to update. Women infants and children program has helped my family a lot. They help ease the burden. The vouchers that we received from WIC have helped out big time and the free health assessments, nutrition classes and vouchers for nutritious foods like milk, formula, cereal, juice, vegetables, fruits, peanut butter, beans and cheese are like receiving random acts of kindness! This my second visit to the WIC program in Vacaville and both of my experiences have been very pleasant. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. I for one felt awkward at first and almost embarassed that our current family situation has resulted in needing financial assistance but the girls here make you feel very comfortable. At both visits I bring my children with me and their lobby and separate cubicle offices are kid-friendly making each experience stess-free. They offer great fun family classes so you can met other Moms ans children their age and at each appointment when you go to pick up your monthly vouchers the counselor can discuss any questions and concerns that you may have.
