On our way back from Door County, we stopped in Grafton and headed to where the old Ale House was. It has turned in to 13 North, and we wanted to try it out since it was new to us. I've been to this location, but it has definitely been redone since my last visit.
I loved looking over te drink menu, so check out the menu pics and drink pics I took.
Uh, Chocolate Old Fashioned? At first I scoffed...huh? Well, color me intrigued but I've gotta try this thing out. Such a great flavor profile of ingredients, I really enjoyed it. I wanted to get another, but then I wanted to try their standard Ol' Fashioned.
Whoever is making these things, don't change your technique! The presentation and tastes were on point! Not to be excluded was the Creamsicle - can you drink JUST ONE?! Uh, neither could we, so we had to get another. We even agreed to just a single drink, but it was not possible.
All the food we got was so full of flavor and the burgers were so juicy. Right amounts of salt and spice on the patties.
The Bourbon Melt was unique--I haven't had something similar to this at another restaurant. I really wanted to order another one, I swear.
We will come back to try more of the menu, but I dunno...it seems like I'm hooked on the stuff I got, and I feel like it's calling me back.
The room we were in was nice and clean and had a modern look and feel. People were enjoying the outdoor seating area as well. I'd love to hang out in the bar area, which I believe was right around the corner, though I didn't venture too far to the other side of the building. I really loved the experience, 13 North! Thanks so much to Krystle for taking such good care of us! All smiles and recommendations, plus great knowledge of the menu, made our experience so wonderful! read more
