This is an authentic Japanese restaurant with delicious grilled items and solid food. I dined solo and sat at the Yakitori bar area. Yes it's smoky so be careful what you wear. Service was friendly and quick. I had the grilled dorado with shio koji, a half order of tempura, and a few Yakitori. Everything was enjoyable. There are all kind of great looking items on the menu so I could certainly return. It's not super upscale. Reservations recommended but I was able to walk in near dinner opening time and was able to get a solo seat. There is lots of good Japanese in the area so I would definitely look around the area if you aren't up for grilled items as much. read more
