The Short Version: Bubble tea shop in a converted old house. My drink was good, but the flavours could have been stronger and they could have been more generous with the toppings. The Long Version: Yeazecha opened in Fall of 2025 in the space that was Tru Tea. I was sad to see Tru Tea close, but it's consolation that another bubble tea shop opened in its place. I had been meaning to check it out and finally did when I was poking around on UberEats looking for deals and saw they had a BOGO (buy one get one free) offer. It was $8.25 for a medium Peachy Oolong Milk Tea. The price in-store is $5.99 each, so even with the UberEats markup it was still a good deal. I ordered no sugar and less ice and I paid an extra $1.15 per tea to add brown sugar tapioca pearls (it's only $1 for this topping in-store). So through UberEats I got 2 drinks for $10.55 plus tax, whereas in store it would have been $13.98 plus tax. I got it for pickup and the app said it would be ready in 16 minutes. When I arrived in 20 minutes it was packed up and ready for me. Staff were pleasant and handed me my order. The space inside has not changed much since it was Tru Tea. There's a limited amount of seating indoors and it's all bar seating facing a wall. They have outdoor patio seating which is quite nice, but Canadian weather does not permit it's use year-round, lol. The drink itself was good. I like that the milk teas are made of fresh milk and not dubious non-dairy powder, lol. The tea flavour was moderate and the peach flavour was subtle. I love potent flavours so I felt there could have been improvement in this area. The brown sugar tapioca pearls were chewy but could have been a bit softer and springier. And they could have been a bit more generous with the toppings. I ran out of toppings pretty quickly and was just drinking milk tea partway through. No sugar was truly no added sugar, which I liked because the sugar from the toppings added plenty sweetness for my tastes. And the drink was adequately cold for me even with less ice. I would order the same modifications in the future. They were still relatively new at the time of my visit and to my knowledge they are a small independent businesses with just this one location, so I'm rounding up in good faith. Had the peach and tea flavour been stronger and the tapioca more plentiful this would have been a solid 4 stars maybe even 4.50 stars, but as is it is closer to a 3.25-3.50 stars in my opinion. Hoping to return to try their other drinks after they've been in business a bit longer. Street parking only. Review #223 (2025) read more
