Lovely old pub on Reigate hill. Interior is nice and well kept, interesting quotes on chalkboard above the bar, and very accommodating folks behind the bar, including the owner, who I understand have only been here a couple of years. The menu is pretty good with a nice (and unexpectedly large) range of snacks, meals and share plates. I had the Smokin Burger with hand cut chips, while others had the fish finger sandwich, and a special of Asian style pork and noodles. My burger was outstanding, the roll soft and warm, the pattie tasty and juicy, with the smoked cheese, smoked bacon and BBQ sauce making it indeed a Smokin Burger. The home made fish fingers were succulent and the batter light, and the Asian noodles got the thumbs up as well. Highly recommended. read more
