Was looking around the whole East Bay Area for a little bird. Came into this place to just look around because I live in an apartment and I know how loud parrots can be. Use to own a budgie before so I know what I'm getting myself into. The stores not too big but they had a lot of birds. From baby parrots to mature adult parrots. They also had parrots that had owners before so some had plucking issues and many parrots with names already. I do have to say they might be understaffed because the cages could use a good scrub. I looked around and set my eyes on this cage with 7 baby conures. They all looked the same + super energetic. I ended up asking the price for a yellow sided green cheek. She turned out to be $650 but she was sooo cute. I wanted a male parrot because my previous parrot was egg bound and had to be hospitalized for that so I didn't want to go through that again. But jokes on me the little parrot I picked turned out to be a female and I just could say no to the little face. So I waited another month for her to be old enough to eat on her own then she went home with me. It's been a year since I got her and she is not longer that quiet little bird she's always so excited and curious. Loves head scratches and has learn a few tricks as well read more
