Zelky's at Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth Beach is a fun arcade experience. This isn't your conventional arcade setup. Zelky's is a family-friendly arcade, with most games appropriate for young children. You generally won't find any gruesome games with strong violence here. Don't misunderstand, the games are fun and entertaining for all ages including adults. Because many of the instant prize games are for young kids, the odds of winning are higher for adults who generally are more inclined to strategize, making this a great adult experience for dates or friends night. These games are perfect for parents to engage with their kids. Zelky's games are operated by player-card. You must load a player card at one of the kiosk and to play you must tap the card on the machine to register play credit. The games generally start at $1 per play. At $1 per play, the units go fast and so does reloading your card. The prize redemption station is large, however, not as extensive or massive as Zelky's North or Zelky's South on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk. If you've visited the other Zelky's locations on the boardwalk, you'll appreciate this one at Tager Outlets as it is less busy. This location is also ideal for parking and the public restroom in the shopping center is newer and much more pleasant than the beach restroom on the boardwalk for obvious reasons. The customer service is generally good. The attendants are friendly and accommodating to kids at the prize station. RECOMMENDATION: the "claw" machines that award instant prizes like expensive headphones or electronics are virtually impossible to win. Don't waste your money after one attempt. The same goes for the "heavy" stuffed animal prizes. The claws just aren't strong and tense enough to withstand the arm rocking back and forth from the prize to the drop area; much less if you have any success lifting the prize even an inch in off the floor. read more
