The first good sign was that we could hear everyone in the restaurant speaking Italian. The glass display case is filled with beautiful pastries, cookies, slices of cakes along with sandwiches and mini pizzas .We ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and two americanos (American style coffee). If I could rate just the food it would be a solid 5 stars (I'm sure it helps that we were SO hungry!) The bread was warm but also light and crispy with Parma ham, melted cheese, topped with tomato and lettuce. The coffee was excellent, too. It was a perfect place for a casual and quick lunch.

I was not particularly hungry, but I was so glad I stopped by and tried some of their sweets! We ended up ordering the apple strudel with a side of run based vanilla ice cream and a slice of tiramisu. Both were freshly baked being brought out from what I assume was the bakery/kitchen in the back. The strudel and ice cream was divine, warm, chewy, and easily the best strudel I had so far while touring around Germany. As for the tiramisu, it was unlike any tiramisu I have ever had, as the texture was more a resemblance of a soft sponge cake. I do not mean this in a bad way either, strong balance of coffee and cake, easily could've had another piece honestly. I cannot comment on any savory dishes, but the sweets were worth it alone! Great prices, great service, and great sweets, how could you go wrong?

This is coming from an Asian American who came here as a tourist, so I did the most tourist thing ever and ordered what I knew Austria and Germany was famous for, an Apple strudel. And I'm glad I did because that apple strudel was the best I had on my trip there. I am not a desserts person, so take my view of this pastry with a grain of salt, but I felt that apples were of good quality, the pastry itself did not feel overwhelmingly sweet even with the sauce that comes on the side with. If you can make your sweets like that the. You are doing something right and I enjoyed with a nice cup of latte. The servers were super nice also they had problem explaining things to me in English.
