Yes, please…read more There are any number of places in Poland in which to get good pierogi - and as much as I'd love the opportunity to try them all, this is the place where we landed today. It's a cozy and very colorful place, with wonderful aromas and old world charm. The service is, well, decidedly European - you can't be in a rush when you get here, and being all "American" about it won't get your food on the table any faster. I've been living in Spain for eight years now and I find table service to be quite a bit slower than in the US. Then again, they aren't chasing you out of the restaurant when you finish eating, either - they give you plenty of time to just chat with your mates and enjoy another round. As for the pierogi? I would GLADLY come back here!

Despite lousy weather we decided to test some of the selection of 20 mainly Polish craft beers on the multitap. The food menu was "typical" pub stuff, but out choice turned out to be delicious; for the lunch we had a vegan bufallo and mariposa salad. All fresh and well combined. Plus free tap water, still not so obvious in the country. Great coffee from the espresso machine afterwards. We had a genuine pleasure to be served and entertained by the owner; the guy was charming and caring. Would give the 6th yelp star if they shared their music playlists so that you can subscribe when away!

There are two small kids tables and high chairs. Good selection (about 10 pizza choices, 8 pasta dishes, various starters and salads). Kids menu of either spaghetti or a mini pizza. Beer, wine, Pepsi drinks, water, tea. Try the Lemonade which is more like fresh squeezed orange juice and is very refreshing. The pizza is not wood fired but is thin crust and perfectly respectable. If you need something in walking distance from the university, it's a nice choice.
