My husband and our 5 year old needed some touch ups and it's been a challenge finding a shop my husband actually likes- in addition to finding someone who interacts well with our son. These guys hit a home run, the shop was clean, spacious, and welcoming. Katie cut my husbands hair she was very sweet, it looked great and he was super happy! Toanh cut our sons hair and I can't say enough how pleased I was. He is an absolute natural with kids. Not only did the haircut look amazing but his interactions and patience with our son made it pretty clear we found his *official barber*. Looking forward to returning! Found this little gem online, they only do walk ins , when I got there it was a no frills type of place, had 5 chairs for people to get cuts, 2 barbers )when I got there) they offered free can of soda after the cuts. I went for a cut and a beard trim, they take their time, it's not like a lot of places where they rush you in and out, they're very thoughtful and get you looking sharp. HONESTLY loved the guy and his energy, love the store and vibe but the guy just didn't cut my hair good at all. Seemed promising with how long he took and seemed like he was being precise. It didn't look bad at first but now that I look at it, it's so crooked, it wasn't lined up at all, the sides were way too long and you can't even tell I got much of a hair cut... I wish I could get my money back at this point. I asked for my mustache and beard to be trimmed and lined up, but instead he shaved the whole thing down... i noticed way too late because he didn't show me the size he was gonna use. If I knew, I would've stopped him. That was the first time my hair was ever butchered or someone shaving my facial hair off... and it was for an important trip. There was no styling. I discovered this place about a year and a half ago. I have sinced moved from Federal Way to Olympia. I specifically come to Federal Way for a haircut. The place has a mellow spacious vibe. I always have Stacy cut my hair, and she's friendly, fast, efficient ,and does a great job. As long as I live in Western Washington, this is where I'm going to get my haircut period. I am greatly disappointed. I don't recommend this barbershop to anyone specifically because of a incident that happened today. My nephew went to get a haircut. He is only four years old. He did so well in the chair. While his hair was getting cut. The lady who is cutting his hair, said that he can get a lollipop and when he went to go get a lollipop she told him no. I then asked why he couldn't get a lollipop, and she said because he didn't stay still. I feel like it was prejudice because he is a Hispanic boy. I asked for a low taper(like bare minimum) and was given a medium fade type undercut dealio. Dude I don't even know. Pay the extra cash for a barber that will actually listen and understand what you're looking for. I know getting nicked can happen but my ears are scabbed up from the 3-4 times. I will give credit that the fade itself wasn't too too bad, but the length of my hair and where the fade was at wasn't blended well... at all... idk. never again, that's for sure. read more

Absolutely disgusting. Absolutely ruined my boyfriends hair. Gaslit him into changing what hairstyle he wanted. When we asked to change started yelling at us, belittling, just being so disrespectful. Told us we'd have to pay more after asking them to fix the mistake they made. Can't take criticism. Didn't even get a the drink. The hair wasn't even. They can't cut curly hair. Came through on a Sunday and it was pretty empty, which was good for me. I was greeted by one barber, Heather. Let me tell you she has the softest touch of any barber I have ever had.
