I have a room in my condo that I was looking to remove some shelving from an 8'H x 10'W wall. Earlier this year in January, I reached out to them for a quote based on their stellar reviews. The owners came to measure the job and provided a free estimate that same day - $500 to remove all shelving from the wall, repair damaged drywall (mud, sand, etc.), and haul away. That's amazing compared to other quotes I received. Wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the room then, so held off. 5 months later, I decide I want to remove just the bottom shelving. Reached out to them again and got a quote - $375 to do the exact same job less the top shelving. Hold on... the top shelving covers more percentage of the wall than the bottom and it's only $125 less than what I got quoted in January? Tried to resolve with Chris and he tried to rectify the situation by saying he can prime & paint the wall for free if I bought the primer & paint. Would also give me the "online booking" discount even though I called them - $355. Had to get it done. Couldn't be home during the appointment time so had someone watch them during the job who kept me up-to-date real time. Great job to them for removing the shelving without damaging the drywall, but the price included drywall repair work & materials. If drywall repair work wasn't performed, why am I being charged for it? Came back home and the wall was not properly sanded nor were the holes were properly filled (see pics). These guys did a good job cleaning up and hauling away, as well as being careful with the removal, but the pricing and repair work was not justifiable. Was hoping my experience would've been just like everyone else's, but unfortunately will not use or recommend to others. Accounting procedures are terrible as well - did not receive a written estimate nor a proper receipt upon payment. read more

I used Gogo Junk twice in two days and was extremely happy with their service. The first time was to haul away major appliances, old furniture, and lots of junk from a large house that we had vacated. I got 3 bids for that job and GoGo Junk was the lowest price. I was worried the service might not be good, but it was excellent! They worked carefully to minimize damage to our walls while removing large items. They also packed and repacked our junk to fit into two truckloads rather than three, which saved me a lot of money. Then they swept all the floors and cleaned up after themselves. When they asked if I was dissatisfied in any way, there was not a single thing to complain about. The whole team was great. Their service was so good, I hired them to demolish an "unpermitted" office in my garage two days later. I built that office very robustly and it took a lot of work to tear it down. I'm a contractor that had a job in Irvine installing some new wood floors for a client. The house had carpet upstairs and downstairs that needed to be removed before I could start. I called one local company to give me a bid and they were ridiculously expensive. I then called Gogo Junk and they were able to come out the next day and give me a quote on the spot with no obligation to hire them. There price was much better and included removing all the staples from the carpet pad, which can be very time consuming.
