During my trip down the World Showcase, I stopped by the China Pavilion's House of Good Fortune Gift Shop. I'm so glad I did! House of Good Fortune carries a wide variety of merchandise! The types of merchandise include artwork, home décor, clothing, accessories, toys, and one of a kind souvenirs you're unlikely to see anywhere else in the parks. I particularly liked browsing through their offerings of ornaments, figurines and decorations, there were many really cool things! House of Good Fortune is slightly different than many of the gift shops found in various locations around Walt Disney World. Unlike many of the stores which are filled with Disney themed merchandise, this store features merchandise that reflects the cultural and elements of the China Pavilion. House of Good Fortune is a great place to check out! The cast members working in the store were extremely helpful! If you have plans to visit Epcot and would like to visit each of the countries represented in the World Showcase area, I highly recommend stopping by House of Good Fortune.

This location is convenient as it's in the center of the World Showcase as you enter Epcot. Disney Traders is also one of the merchandise locations where annual passholder discounts are accepted for certain discounts. This is one of the largest shops inside Disney's Hollywood Studios. The outside décor of the shop is pretty unique. It looks like you're entering a cinema or movie theater to go see a movie! Inside the store, you'll see lots of Disney-themed apparel, headwear (like Mickey Ears), and even Jewelry! Typical hours for this store are 9:00 A.M to 9:00 P.M daily, however, you'll want to take a look at Disney World's Mobile application. Sometimes the start times do change for Hollywood Studios. If you're staying on property at Disney World, there is a 30 minute extra time you'll have, with the theme park opening at 8:30 if you have early access. Annual Passholder discounts and Disney Visa Cardmember Perks are accepted at this store! We had a great time shopping at this store when we visited Hollywood Studios. Since we ended up going down Sunset Boulevard later in the evening, this store was relatively busy, but overall it was a lot of fun!

The store looks smaller then the millenia store, but still organized and clean. The prices are pretty expensive, but we bought a blue collar shirt for about 88 dollars. It was pretty quick to checkout. They gave us a nice bag to put the shirt, but when we got home, we noticed that they forgot to remove the security tag from the shirt. How the security system didn't alarm when we left, we don't know. Though, we will need to go back and get the tag off. However, other shirts we bought and tried are pretty comfortable and look hip. It's definitely not cheap, but it's one of those brand name stores that is pretty good for sports wear. Hopefully we can get the tag issue resolved and enjoy the shirt we bought soon. Overall: B

This store is both a story book shop and the exit retail space for Mickey's PhilharMagic. As you step out from the attraction, the shop has a lot of merchandise, décor and Disney themed items. This Fantasy Faire shop has a lot of musical and classic Disney items. You'll notice musical notes, instruments, and the centerpiece décor that features Donald Duck tangled in Musical instruments. It's from a scene in Mickey's PhilharMagic! The exterior and interior maintain a village aesthetic of Fantasyland. During Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, I ended up stopping inside this store. The store was well stocked with a variety of Disney merchandise such as apparel, accessors like Mickey Ears, pins, Loungefly backpacks, plush toys, snacks, media accessories and more! This store often features some of the latest themed items in the current park events or seasonal items. Since this store is inside Fantasyland and it's right next to the attraction, it's easy to go inside the store and shop! There are so many options from pins, Disney ears, and more! Then I had to wait for someone to check my purchase before leaving, yet they didn't come confirm my purchase until after they'd checked out someone who entered the regular line *after* I'd already been waiting at the mobile check out stand for a few minutes. That felt like it defeats the purpose a bit. They have a lot of stuff though, and different than the Island Merchantile across the way.

I do walk through to see what they have frequency, but it is rare that I would make a purchase because the items I tend to want are priced out of my range. If I had someone who was a big fan, I would definitely consider buying gifts here. And this most recent visit, I realized how long it has been since I have really shopped because they have truly expanded the selection of items that they have. I did not realize that they carry Swarovski Crystal. I used to buy Swarovski from their stores with some regularity when I was younger. What are things I love about stopping through is quite often. You can see one of the artists developing pieces. I'm always amazed at the talent. These people have and the quality of the workmanship. For me, I would love to be able to buy one of the chess sets that they have. I will have to start saving my pennies so that I can hopefully buy one one day.
