I've been a pretty low-maintenance customer most of that time, but last year someone ran a red light and totaled my car. It was the first time in my life I'd been in a car accident that was mine to deal with, so I was entirely unfamiliar with the process of making my claim and dealing with the other insurance company. Beth and Carmen were always great about answering my many questions--and anticipating many of my questions before I even had a chance to ask them. I also have to commend American Family more generally (as in the company as a whole, not just this agency) for their fairness in the valuation they gave my car--and for the work they did coordinating my temporary replacement car from Enterprise and my appointment at Von's Carstar for damage assessment.

What was quoted as a 6-8 week project, eventually turned into 5 MONTHS! No consistent follow up on "how things were going" from our adjuster John Reese, and great lip service from the DM Cory Hoverson and the "Presidental Service Team". Also, in the process of the claim, a hole was left in the kitchen wall and a baby rattlesnake was able to come into the house. Very disappointed by this company, and by how this claim was handled...poorly. And when our policy came up for renewal, a huge increase in the price. Funny as we had the policy for a number of years with NO INCREASE. As soon as this claim was settled, we dropped LIMU and went with USAA. USAA came through with the same coverage at way less than what LIMU's ORIGINAL price was without the increase. Beware of LIMU...you will be sorry.
