My issue is with CADY's overall process, pricing, communication, and customer service. My husband booked our son's senior portrait session, and we paid around $225 for the appointment itself. We live quite a distance from the Katy location and went into this expecting the appointment to take maybe an hour or two. When we arrived, we learned we should expect to be there 3-4 hours. The studio was extremely crowded, with seniors being shuffled between different sets and quite a bit of waiting for studios to become available. The front staff was very young, and the entire process felt much more like a high-volume operation than the senior portrait experience we were expecting. What bothered me most happened at the end. We were told to "check out," which I assumed simply meant my husband needed to finish up and pay anything that was due. I waited in the car with our son. After about 10 minutes, when my husband still hadn't returned, I went back inside and discovered that he had been taken into a private room for a sales presentation about portrait packages. That was when we saw the pricing. We were honestly stunned. The digital-only options are roughly $1,800-$2,000, and some of the portrait collections approach $3,000. We were also told that we had to decide which package we wanted before leaving that day. I told the representative we were absolutely not going to make a purchase of that size on the spot and needed time to look everything over. We were then told we would need to return to the Katy studio in person for another appointment just to review and select our photos. Considering how far the drive is for us, and the fact that we are most likely purchasing the all-digital option anyway, I simply wanted to find out whether that appointment could be done virtually. Unfortunately, trying to get that simple question answered has turned into another frustrating experience. The phone wait time has been at least an hour, and the online customer service wait has been just as bad. When I finally reached someone through chat, I was asked to verify my child's name and school. I did so, and the representative responded, "I have to transfer you to Elite team." Then nothing. No response, no follow-up, and no one from the Elite team contacted me. By the end of this experience, the entire process honestly felt like a scam, or at the very least an intentionally high-pressure sales setup. We had already paid for the session, made the long drive, spent 3-4 hours there, and had our son go through the entire senior portrait experience before we were finally confronted with what it would actually cost to obtain the photographs. By that point, of course parents are emotionally invested in the pictures. Then comes the private sales room, the sticker shock, and the pressure to make a decision before leaving. Maybe all of this information exists somewhere in the booking materials, but it certainly was not made clear enough to us that this was the experience we were signing up for. Had we understood beforehand that this would be a 3-4 hour process followed by a sales presentation for portrait packages potentially costing thousands of dollars, we would never have booked the session. I have no problem paying for professional photography, and again, our photographer herself was lovely. This review is not about her. It is about CADY's business model and customer experience. I walked away feeling like we had been funneled through a carefully designed process that gets families invested in their child's senior portraits before they fully understand the financial commitment involved. Whether or not that is CADY's intention, that is absolutely how the experience felt to us. Parents considering booking senior portraits here should ask for the complete pricing, expected session length, purchasing process, and any required follow-up appointments before paying the session fee. I really wish we had.

I mean, not only is she talented but she knows how to work when dealing with a "crisis". My wedding day consisted of me and my bridal party running late to the church and hardly enough time for a photo session with the wedding party at a picturesque location so we weren't able to get all the pictures I would have liked but she worked with what time and location we did have and put it to good use!! It just amazes me that she was able to capture some special moments within seconds! We had some incredible shots we are sure to enjoy for a lifetime.
