Very young and inexperienced photo and video people - very few pictures taken, and hardly any video coverage. Quality of what was delivered was also terrible - the DJ was kept in the background for speeches instead of bride and groom, thats just one example of the unprofessional people used. My wife is extremely upset with my decision to use them. read more

If I could only have one vendor at the wedding, it would be 1 Cinema Productions. They are phenomenal! So many couples can't remember their wedding, or miss a lot of important points while you're in your bridal suite getting ready to walk down the aisle. Not only did I get to see what I missed, it was documented SO beautifully. This company is literally a collection of movie makers, who are there to create your love story, with your favorite music as a soundtrack! They do such a flawless and professional job, that you'll forget you're watching yourself! I'm so proud to be able to show off this incredible video to all my family and friends! I want to take a second to talk about the actual videographer who came out to shoot my wedding. He was so professional, and super behind the scenes. He didn't seem to have to pull husband and I aside at all to get his shots. We were able to enjoy every part of our wedding, and he still captured amazing footage. He was like a video ninja! I remember thinking at the wedding, hmmmm, I wonder what he's capturing because I don't feel like I can tell when he's taping and when he's not. But when I saw the highlight reel, I was soooo shocked by all the amazing stuff he got! Everyone looks sooo great, and the wedding looked AMAZING! I wouldn't trade these videos for the world, and now my husband and I can share them with our future kids! SOOO glad I went with 1 Cinema Productions. They are the cream of the crop in videography. I was recommended by our engagement photographer to check out 1 cinema since our original photographer would not be available for our wedding date. I went to their website and absolutely loved their work! The videos sold themselves that I would have bought from an ape. I added my information to the 'contact us' section and received a call that evening. Ryan Nguyen is the 'sales representative' that contacted me. The conversation was terrible, he only cared about my budget and didn't ask me what I wanted. The entire conversation revolved around price without actually telling me what I was 'buying'. I'm in sales, and this was terrible. This all would have been forgiven if his last words over the phone we not asking me for a 50% deposit! what?? I STILL do not know what I am buying... We scheduled a meeting during that brief discussion over the phone, but I live in a different city and didn't get to Houston as soon as we had hoped so I sent Ryan an email to reschedule. I received a call a few hours later... Ryan said " I understand you would like to reschedule...you like our work right? well then how about we discuss the 50% deposit and go ahead and reserve your date." He kept saying " my GM approved your pricing" and "I want to make sure we still have your date available" ...I'm in sales, youre not fooling anything with that overused lines. I explained to Ryan that this is our wedding and we am not looking to make irrational decisions especially without even meeting the photographer/videographer. Ryan said that they do not know the photographer/videographers schedule untill they send it to them at the beginning of every month. My wedding is on June 7th, so I will get a 7 day heads up on who my photographer is...really? I will let the emails below speak for themselves so this is no longer a he said she said... Ryan, Thank you for sharing the link to your fb page, but where are the other videos we discussed so I may see your consistancy? Ryan, I hope you do not take this the wrong way. I am in sales so I understand the hustle and bustle mentality. One thing that makes me successful is that I sell the way I would like to be sold to. In an honest fashion. When I registered my info in your contact section, I was referred to you all by my engagement photographer (which is an extreme compliment might I add!). I greatly appreciate the proactive call especially since patience is not on my resume (ha!) I was excited to set an appointment and move forward with our tricky schedule, but I did not appreciate being asked to bring a 50% deposite before we even met. I cant buy a car without test driving it or at least know what kind of car it is. I understand your GM had signed off on the discounted price, but I also know that a good deal today is a good deal tomorrow. I also understand you want to ensure you have the availability of the photographer/videographer, but I do not see that being an issue given the size of your production. If it comes down to this then I guess it's something I am willing to accept as fate. This is our wedding and no decision will be made on impulse as I'm sure you understand. It's sad that this person is representing a pretty decent company. Overall, Ryan tried to steal the business from my engagement photographer by saying he can get me a better deal for the entire package. That's pretty low considering my photographer is the one that recommended them! They are too big of a production to care about the people they are dealing with. Choosing A&A to do our video was one of the best decisions of our wedding. Victor was our lead videographer and I can't say enough good things about him. He was punctual, professional, gave amazing direction, and made us feel so comfortable. He had a vision each step of the way and it has come out so beautifully on our highlights video. Imran and Sonia were very helpful in the beginning, taking the time to patiently answer all of our questions and concerns. This was a huge investment for us but definitely worth the price. Now we have priceless memories beautifully captured and can re-live our favorite day whenever we want! Communication in between contracting and our wedding became slower with longer gaps in receiving answers or guidance but these guys knew exactly what they were doing and I was really worried and over-anxious for no reason. The only thing I would change is that I wish we hadn't asked for an expedited edit. We had a big valima party the week after the wedding and we rushed the highlight video because we wanted to show it to our Valima guests, with the understanding that the filming from the valima would be added on later. The editor who did the rush and the editor who added on the last bit of the video are two different jobs with two completely different styles, which we learned after the fact. It took a bit of back and forth to get the video just right and we could have avoided that by just waiting until everything had been filmed before getting the highlights. Again they showed patience and helped us through it. This team is professional and I have never seen a better quality wedding video - so glad it's mine! read more
