I had a really disappointing experience with this boutique. I exchanged an item and received a store credit. Common practice for these small boutiques. You are not refunded but given a credit to use inn their store. When I returned to use it--just five days past the expiration dat (only 6months by the way) the staff member told me it might still be possible to use it and suggested I reach out to the owner, since she has reactivated store credits for others in the past. What's most frustrating is that the expiration date was never mentioned to me at the time of the exchange. It was simply handwritten in pen on the receipt, which I didn't even notice. That's not a professional or transparent way to communicate an important policy, especially when it involves a customer's money. When I contacted the owner, I was told the system automatically deletes expired credits and there was absolutely nothing that could be done. This contradicts what I was told in the store and left me feeling dismissed as a customer. I understand having policies, but this felt unnecessarily rigid and inconsistent. I won't be shopping here again, and I'd caution others to be aware that store credits can quietly expire without clear communication or flexibility. read more

I was really excited to go to this boutique to find some unique pieces only to be extremely disappointed .... Some items are priced decent while the others are ridiculous! I bought an anchor bracelet only to have it break as soon as I took it out of the bag (jewelry is cheap quality and can be bought at the accessory show for way cheaper). I agree the customer service skills are horrible- my mom and I were asked if we needed help finding anything and that was as far as it went. The feeling was cold and unfriendly. The daughter was straight up clueless and had no knowledge of clothing or fashion. I think what bothered me most was the constant being on the phone with vendors and putting up new clothes- if you have customers in your store then you should be talking with them not on the phone. (It was really annoying trying to ask questions while the were trying to talk to a vendor about ordering). The daughter also was eating while people were shopping instead of taking her break in the back room. It's sad because they could have something really good here if they tried and connected with people .... Facebook is not the only connection to be making with your customers. A decent clothing boutique, but to be honest most of the clothes are available through other sites for the same price or cheaper. It's worth a look to try on different styles, but overall I felt underwelmed by the selection. Maybe it's because it's fall, but I saw a lot of boring colors. Dull dreary shades- rather that all the bright vibrant shades that are popular for this season. Even the pinks were kinda boring. If you're looking for clothes that will make you a wall flower- this is for you. Me I kinda like to stand out with at least one item that pops out and says, "Hiya there! I'm here and kinda awesome, like this color." Jewelry is nice, but nothing I liked because I tend to make my own. Like Michelle P. said it's hit or miss. I was lucky to find a black short sleeve cardigan sweater by Tulle for 70% off, but I probably wouldn't have purchased it full price. So I went here but the hours online are wrong so they were closed. I did go back a couple days later, and they were open. So I looked around the clothes are cute. A lot of clothing for moms. But the prices omgggg way over priced. A lot of other boutiques around are literally 40-50 per jeans this place wants 100. If they lower their prices I would go back. But this place is way way over priced. It's very nice inside and the girl working was super Nice. It's worth going to look at. read more

I am so sad to rate this because the clothes in the window look really cute.... however, I have tried to shop there 3 different times and although their hours show they're open and their phone message says they're open, they were not. It's a 30 minute drive there and longer home due to traffic. I can't believe the owner can't come up with a solution to inform the public when someone is a No Show. I understand, things happen, employees don't show up. But if this has happened the last 3 times I've tried then it likely happens all the time. This is a gem in the suburbs. I buy gifts for my girlfriend, coworkers and sister from here. The staff is always friendly and kind and help me make the best purchase decisions for the occasion. Located in lemont, a trip here also gives me the opportunity to check out other shops and eat at the local sites in the area. Street parking is available. Cant to wrong with the items here. Horrible Customer service!!! Ripped off!! Returned top & sweater husband picked out for $245 (yes, it's that overpriced). My husband was given impression it could be retuned, but now I was told they don't take returns, just store credit. Was given a printed receipt for the credit that was labeled gift card. Went to use & was told it expired 2 days prior. Asked to speak to store owner. Mgr took down my info but never recd call back. Months later & a dozen calls to both stores, still not even a return phone call!! Btw, gift cards cannot expire by law!! Don't be fooled that this is some local boutique you should support. The clothes and accessories are amazing, no doubt about it. But every time I walk in the store I feel as if the young lady and whoever else works with her are extremely unwelcoming. I would buy a TON of clothes if they didn't burn a hole through my soul with their eyes every time I walked in their shop to (God forbid) buy their items. I have to laugh at Reese S.'s review. If a personality like that is the center point of someone's wardrobe, it sure would be a terribly vile one. My friend and I have been loyal customers of this boutique in Saugatuck MI ever since it opened. That is, until today when my friend purchased a blouse 7 days ago and wanted to exchange it for another size. They didn't have another size, so she wanted to exchange it for a different top, but she was told NO. Apparently their store policy is store credit within 7 days and she was ONE day late. She was not asking for a refund ,just to exchange the blouse. Mind you, neither my friend or I live in Saugatuck full time but have homes here and visit on weekends. I cannot believe that a store, particularly in a resort town, would have such HORRIBLE customer service. The store clerk had contacted the owner who still refused to make any kind of compromise. And now my friend is stuck with a $60 blouse she can't wear. Needless to say, we both will never shop here again....they lost 2 very loyal customers who are 2 Very Disgusted Girls. read more

This store is jammed packed with various items for the young trendy girl today looking for wash and wear clothing at a low cost. It is a shame that this store can not welcome more than 4-5 people at a time to shop. It is so small and cramped and not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, the Mother & Daughter saleswomen/ owner team need to brush up on their customer service skills. I have never seen either one greet their customers with a smile or eye contact. They do not look happy to be there. Also, I understand that times are rough and they need every sale they are lucky to get because their return and exchange policy is not customer friendly. I blindly made a purchase that 2 days later I regretted because I was issued a credit that has taken awhile to use. I now have a $38 credit that expired on a Monday the day they are closed. When I went in to spend my credit on the next day, Tuesday they informed me that it was no longer valid. Their attitude towards me was one of ignorance. After such rudeness, I am OK with losing $38 today because I know I have helped contribute to their electric bill and keep their doors open a little longer. It is tough running a business in Lemont and in this economy today. We all need to make a living but it's a shame they have to steal it from their paying customers. Once again, I say that shame on me for not getting in there sooner, but shame on them for the rudeness they continually demonstrate to paying customers. read more

This store does not take returns or give store credit on any jewelry. My husband is not the best shopper, and I would have thought a sales person would have guided him a bit. I ended up with a silver tone hollow alloy bracelet and necklace for Mother's Day. I am 54 and the items would be appropriate for an 8 year old. Very cheap quality and extremely overpriced. I tried to sell them on Ebay at 80% off the 1 Happy Girl price and had no luck. I will never shop at this store, terrible policies and junk merchandise. Save your time and go to Claire's 2 for $5.00 rack and you will get the same items. read more

Adorable, trendy little boutique in downtown Lemont. The store has french doors that open up to a little patio out in the back with a garden! The clothing selection ranges from cute, casual tanks and sundresses to dresses that you can wear to a wedding or nice dinner out. I have bought a couple shirts from there and I have gotten so many compliments on each one. Very affordable for good quality and unique pieces! read more

Its a very cute boutique but not very fun to shop in. It is quite a drive for me to go and I feel i would stay a bit longer if the girl who owns it was a little more friendly. I completely agree with Jillian J. I stopped in for a shopping trip with my mom and we were the only ones in the store, the girl didn't even bother to say hi and just gave us the death stare when we walked in. It wasn't even closing time or anything, you would think if business were slow she would be happy for customers to walk in!
