He had a pickup about a little smaller and barely a tower and got me out and parked me near the fire hydrant on the curb. I told the guy when he was there he could park it anywhere close to the curb so it would not get struck hopefully. Now what I don't get is why is the towing guy claiming he helped me when he spoke to me from afar and then abandoned me? Then he said my car was in the pileup? I don't think he's understanding that he's not getting the facts straight about the interaction. I didn't expect him to retaliate with a text this morning. The driver, Jason, arrived within 15-20 minutes of dispatch. He could tell I was upset. I was traveling from Virginia back home to Alabama when my car broke down in North Carolina. The closest dealership was in South Carolina, over a 2-hour drive in now 5pm traffic. Jason towed my doggy, my son, and me to the dealership, which had closed by the time we arrived. Then he drove us to a hotel and waited to make sure it was pet-friendly. I really appreciate his patience, time, and kindness. God puts us in the presence of good people with kind hearts. Jason is one of them. I can never thank him enough for today because, for a moment, I just wanted to cry and have a pity party on I-85 in 98-degree weather, with people blowing at me like I chose to sit on the side of the road, almost in the road. I backed into the best space in the lot and notices that more warning lights were burning than usual when I turned off my vehicle. I tried to restart and got a ratatatatat. I called AAA and they sent Randleman Towing which arrived within fifteen minutes with Andrew at the wheel. He had my 2012 Lexus RX 350 loaded and dropped me off at my home as I live on the way to Sun Auto. The time I called AAA was 4:51. The time I heard from Andrew was 5:04 and I called Sun Auto to put service for my Lexus for first thing on Wednesday. It is currently 6:00 PM and I am comfortably at home. Andrew was super nice and very accomodating to an old man.

They told me my front bumper needed a replacement. They gave me an estimate, and had told my insurance estimator/inspector to send a check to them directly. They did not give me the detailed invoice for the "new" bumper. And they rushed to start work on my car. I became suspicious at this point and asked for an invoice at which point they started being very rude on the phone. Their response to my request on sending me an invoice was "you think you know how to repair the car, then come and take your car!" Was very surprised and puzzled with their response in return for asking an invoice. This is when I sensed something was totally off and I decide to stop by directly to take my car back from the shop. When I dropped there to my surprise I saw my car was already in works and what was more shocking was that they were trying to take my 'original' front bumper off and scratch/repaint the same and sell it to me as new bumper!! Check out the pics. I decide to not get in a heated argument since I now know these guys were fraud and just asked them to put the front bumper back on and give it back to me. They are shocked to see me there and since I caught them red-handed they offer to do the "repair" for me "free" and they tell me not to worry about the deductible payment - "we will take care" they say! I was furious and very seriously asked them to put my car back together and leave the place with my car. I went to another place with my car who were super good and made it super easy for me. I was very happy with this second place. But overall the whole process caused so much stress and frustration, and that is not something you want to go through when you are already dealing with your Carnot in good condition, dealing daily stuff without your car, dealing with your insurance, working on payment numbers, etc. Oh and btw they seem to work these things out with the insurance inspector, so just be aware. I also felt my insurance inspector(Frank from Progressive) collaborated with agreeing to issuing the check to them and not informing me. I had to reach out to Progressive executives to file a complaint and get the payment reversed. The whole process was very disappointing and was very off putting at the time. If you want your car in good hands and avoid the mental drama just do NOT go here. I feel bad for people who may have gone here and not know what tricks they exactly pulled on them and these guys got away. Anyway at least if this helps you, I'm glad taking time writing this.

This Beaver purchase proved a horrible experience for me personally. I looked online for a…read morereplacement engine for my niece's 2010 Honda Civic LX 1.8, which had a cracked #2 cylinder liner. There were quite a few engines on offer...ranging from $500+ E-Bay and wrecking yard models to $1200-$1500 extra low miles direct import Japanese units. I went with these guys, (despite them being almost $300) higher than the cheapest E-Bay option. I did that because I was told they were a good, reputable place to purchase Honda parts from in NC. The original engine purchased was a relative low miles unit, which I had shipped directly to the install facility. On installation and initial startup, a coolant weep from a hairline crack in the block was discovered. The installation facility notified me and then immediately reached out to Beaver. The car never left the shop. The delay was an expensive inconvenience. One week later, a much higher mileage engine was sent out to the facility. It was again installed after removal of their first defective unit...(two complete installation charges) because of their defective part sent. Things happen! I'm not unreasonable but the fact remains, I paid for a "good" engine. If it is not and I incur massive additional costs as a result, cost sharing would be the least they should offer...(either discount the engine or pick up a part of the installation). I was prepared to absorb much of it, despite not being at fault. These guy were having none of it. They completely absolved themselves from ANY of those costs...despite sending a faulty engine. They refused to let me speak to the owner and acted as if they'd done me a favor by sending out a much higher mileage engine. I did not beg for that engine. I paid money for it...money I could have spent elsewhere.
